The history of the Josvainiai Social and Education Centre dates back decades – from 1962, when a pre-school institution started operating here, to the care home for the elderly that operated in 1993-2002. Since 2002, the centre has become a large and important institution for the community, providing a wide range of social and educational services.
Today, the centre has two main areas of social care – a care home for the elderly, which can accommodate up to 38 residents, and an independent living home, where places are allocated for 10 people. It takes care of the elderly and the disabled, providing them with comprehensive assistance, a comfortable living environment and the opportunity to maintain their dignity.
Guided by its mission and vision, the center is constantly looking for advanced solutions and applying innovative methods that ensure not only practical help, but also emotional well-being. The most important values of the centre are respect for people, cooperation, openness and continuous improvement.
