The social care institution operating in Utena district is designed to ensure long-term and short-term care for the elderly and disabled by providing caring care and a favorable environment. The aim of the institution is to provide the highest quality of services, ensuring modern, comfortable living conditions. This goal is achieved by collaborating with a team of qualified employees who use the latest social care methods in order to best meet the needs and expectations of each resident.
The mission of the institution is to meet the needs of the population with dignity and care by organizing individual, high-quality social and health care services. Residents are provided with a cozy and safe shelter adapted to their special needs. A healthy, balanced diet is ensured every day, and if necessary, a special, dietary diet according to the recommendations of doctors.
Residents can also use tidy and clean common and residential premises. Medical care includes the services of general practitioners, physical therapists, and nurses to help maintain health. In order to ensure comprehensive well-being, opportunities are provided to actively participate in leisure activities, celebrations of holidays and other community activities.
Since 2024, the institution has been participating in the project “Quality Assurance of Social Services in Lithuania”, thanks to which the conditions for supervising the quality of services are strengthened. The project promotes the implementation of the EQUASS system, which helps to ensure the consistency and quality of services for all social service providers.
