Skemai Social Care Home is a community located in the territory of 19 hectares, where residents are provided with modern social care and many additional services that enrich their daily lives. The care home can accommodate up to 324 residents, who are cared for by 204 employees, the majority of whom directly provide services in order to ensure the well-being of each resident.
Here, seniors are provided not only with long-term, short-term and respite care services, but also with a number of additional activities. Work employment programmes promote independence and motivation of residents, while educational activities help to broaden horizons, develop new skills and learn new things. Cultural activities and events, including concerts, art workshops and literary meetings, ensure a connection with the local culture and community. Sports services and activities in the physiotherapy hall help to maintain physical activity, while outdoor fitness grounds and gyms provide space for movement and physical activity.
Residents are also provided with a variety of medical services, daily catering care, and personal hygiene services to ensure comfort and health. Social work specialists help to solve individual problems and take care of the emotional well-being of the residents, encouraging them to maintain relations with their relatives and integrate into society. Domestic services provide amenities for everyday life, including laundry facilities, kitchenettes, and lounge areas adapted for socializing and relaxing.
