UAB “Pajūrio senelių namai” is an institution that seeks to provide cozy, caring and professional care to the elderly and disabled. Having started their activities in 2018. In Kretinga, with 16 places, the care home grew rapidly, responding to the growing needs of social care. In 2020, the number of places was increased to 22, and in the summer of 2023, another institution was opened in Kaunas, Žaliakalnis district. In this care home, the well-being and dignity of each resident is taken care of, ensuring professional care and a comfortable living environment.
Care homes offer long-term and short-term social care services. Residents are provided with comprehensive support: from accommodation and meals to health care, development of social skills and organization of daily activities. The care home is equipped with double, triple and quadruple rooms, adapted to the needs of each resident. For maximum comfort, the rooms are equipped with private bathrooms and TVs, and residents are guaranteed the opportunity to have personal belongings.
A team of specialists provides health care services, takes care of residents’ medicines, nursing and technical assistance tools. The social skills development program promotes independence and helps residents maintain social connections and manage daily needs. The care home also carries out daily activities – ensuring that everyone feels at home, surrounded by care and respect.
